Your Day-to-Day as an Assistant Buyer
The Assistant Buyer supports the Junior Buyer, contributing to product selection and development processes. You help shape product ranges that engage diverse fans and customers.
Core duties include managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Attention to timelines and quality standards is essential.
Expect to analyse weekly sales reports, assist in trade discussions, and flag risks early in the development cycle for smooth workflow and timely launches.
Another key aspect is working closely with suppliers, supporting negotiations, and ensuring compliance with approval workflows to achieve high standards and cost-efficiency.
You will also support administrative processes, overseeing workload distribution among junior team members and partnering across merchandising, design, and eCommerce teams.
